General terms and conditions of business

Scope These general terms and conditions regulate the business relationship between the Merak - Traditional Charcoal Barbecue restaurant and its guests.

Reservations and table allocation 2.1 Reservations are accepted subject to availability. 2.2 The Restaurant reserves the right to allocate tables and refuse or change reservations at its sole discretion.

Food and drinks 3.1 The restaurant offers a selection of food and drinks according to the menu. 3.2 Changes or adjustments to the dishes may be made depending on availability and after consultation with staff. 3.3 The Restaurant may limit the availability of certain ingredients or dishes due to seasonal or other circumstances.

Terms of Payment 4.1 Payment is made in the currency accepted by the Restaurant and according to the payment methods specified in the Restaurant. 4.2 All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation and no-show 5.1 Cancellations of reservations should be communicated in good time. The restaurant reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee if reservations are not canceled in a timely manner or in the event of a no-show. 5.2 The amount of the cancellation fee is determined by the Restaurant and may vary depending on the circumstances.

Limitation of liability 6.1 The restaurant is only liable for damages that are due to gross negligence or intent. Liability for slight negligence is excluded provided there is no breach of essential contractual obligations.

Data protection The restaurant's data protection declaration regulates the collection, processing and use of personal data. By visiting and using the restaurant, guests agree to the privacy policy.

Other provisions 8.1 Changes or additions to these General Terms and Conditions must be made in writing. 8.2 If individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions are or become ineffective, the effectiveness of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
